On October 27th, I attended the online #WFSF2023Paris event with Dana Marduk. He discussed futurepreneurship, which is all about entrepreneurship in the next decade.
One key idea that stuck with me is the concept of the BANI world. It’s a new way of thinking about the world we live in, different from what we learned in class with the VUCA world. The BANI world is a concept that describes the characteristics of our ever-evolving and complex environment. It stands for: brittle, anxious, non-linear, and incomprehensible.
If you want to learn more about futurepreneurship, Dana Marduk wrote a book about it. It’s called “The Rise of Futurepreneurship” and is highly recommended.
